Danielle Judy, MA, LMFT
Mrs. Danielle (Dani) Judy, LMFT earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the University of San Diego, and then went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Marriage and family therapy at Alliant International University. Her clinical experience as a trainee involved working with victims of domestic violence, as well as victims of sexual assault and childhood abuse. She then went on to work as an intern, and eventually a licensed marriage and family therapist, in a private practice setting, providing court-ordered therapy to children and families involved with child welfare services and the juvenile dependency system. She provided trauma focused therapy to child and adult victims of violence and abuse, and counseled children navigating foster placements and family reunification after removal from their home.
In 2015, Dani began working in an outpatient setting where she provided individual therapy to children, teens, adults, families, and couples with a wide range of emotional needs and therapeutic goals. She has extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, phase of life and transitional difficulties, self-esteem concerns, relationship difficulties, and parent-child problems. She utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems theory, trauma focused techniques, solution focused therapy, and family of origin work. Dani joined the Advanced Health Care team in 2020. As a therapist, she most enjoys supporting people in improving their relationships, gaining insight into personal and relational patterns, and finding an overall improved quality of life and well-being. |
