Cristina Tran, MA, BCBA, AMFT
Cristina Tran is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Advanced Health Care. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at San Diego State University. In 2014, she completed her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University, San Diego.
Cristina has experience providing individual and family therapy, including with children and adolescents who are or have been at-risk, abused, or in foster care. She began her clinical work at San Diego Youth Services, a private adolescent group home and Applied Behavior Analysis agency where she supported people and families who suffered with depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, autism spectrum disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and other emotional, developmental, and learning disabilities. Cristina also has experience working with children by utilizing the methodology of Applied Behavior Analysis. She obtained her Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Certification in 2019. Cristina is a compassionate and person-centered therapist, and her therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy, among other modalities. She values providing a safe place for her clients to heal and to live a fulfilling life. Currently, Cristina works under the direct supervision of Dr. Sarah Ray, Clinical Psychologist, and Dr. Bindhu Davis, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist as she gains hours toward licensure. |
